It's one of the biggest talking points in Italian football. Inter Milan are busy plotting an ambitious new project for next season but the big question mark is who will be in charge of the team. According to Todomercadoweb.com. Walter Sabatini, who was recently appointed Director of Sport, has included Luis Enrique in his list of candidates as a replcaement for Stefano Pioli who was sacked yesterday. Sabatini is reported to be keen to contact the Barça coach and open talks as soon as possible.

Luis Enrique keen to take a year away from football

Inter will have their work cut out in trying to persuade Luis Enrique from changing his plans and taking the coaching position. The Asturian has stated that his idea is to take a year's sabbatical after he steps down from the Barcelona job at the end of the season. Inter directors are confident they can coax Luis Enrique back to Italy but the rumour mill also has Chelsea's Antonio Conte on Inter's plans but that may prove equally as difficult...
