Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly prefers Manchester United as his next destination after deciding he is ready to leave Real Madrid. That is what he has told his agent, Jorge Mendes, according to the Portuguese publication A Bola. They were the ones who reported the new of Ronaldo's decision to leave Real Madrid and they cite a report from Gianluca Di Marzio.
According to the Italian's version, the player has asked his agent to do "whatever it takes" to get him back to Manchester United. It would be a reunion between Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho. There was supposedly friction in Mourinho's final days in the capital of Spain but they have been smoothed over and some of those issues were with other members of the squad as opposed to Ronaldo. The Manchester United manager even attended the premiere of Ronaldo's film in London last year.
There are other teams that remain interest, however including Paris Saint Germain.
