REAL MADRID
Mourinho rejected Real Madrid approach twice
After his dismissal at Chelsea, Real Madrid made two approaches to try and lure the Portuguese coach back to the Berrnabeu.

Much has been reported on a possible Santiago Bernabeu return for Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese coach was dismissed at English Premier League club, Chelsea FC on December 17 and his departure coinciding with the turmoil on the Real Madrid bench with doubts being cast on Rafa Benitez’s continuity as first team coach.
Eventually on January 4, Rafa Benitez was sacked as Madrid coach and his position taken by Zinedine Zidane. English media outlets report how the Frenchman was not necessarily Florentino Pérez’s first choice replacement and after Mourinho rejected a first offer, Madrid went back to the former Chelsea boss and made a second bid to secure a Mourinho return to the Bernabeu.
At present it seems that the future for Mourinho is linked with the English game as momentum gathers on reports that the 53 year old coach is in conversation with Manchester United with the prospect of the coach from Setubal being the next resident of the Old Trafford bench. With United’s poor form this season, experts are pointing to a departure of current coach, van Gaal come the end of the 2015/16 season with Mourinho form favoirite to take over at the club.
