Manchester City-Real Madrid Champions League semi-final tickets go on sale
The English club are offering a 10 pound (€12) discount to anyone who's been at the previous 5 Champions League matches.

A match that nobody in blue Manchester and blanco Madrid will want to miss; the second the draw was made Google was inundated with ticket searches for the tie and for when the tickets will go on sale. Real Madrid will get an allocation of 2,750 seats in the Etihad where the first leg will be played. The away seats are going for between 40-50 euro, depending on the seat.

City have decided to freeze ticket prices for their debut in the Champions' League semi-final and have even capped prices at 60 pounds (€75); better still for sky-blue fans, anyone with the Cityzens membership card and proof that they've been to the previous five matches will enjoy a further discount of 10 pounds. Predictions are that about 20,000 fans will benefit from the reduction, while the cheapest ticket rings in at a reasonable 35 pounds (€44).

Real Madrid have also put tickets on sale for the return leg at the Santiago Bernabéu, but they aren't feeling as generous as the Cityzens. The cheapest seat at the Bernabéu will knock you back €80 in the nosebleeders, and the pitch-level seats cost up to €330. Similar prices to the two previous semi-finals involving Juventus last year and Bayern the year previously: tickets started at €70 against Bayern in 2014 (€75 against the Italians) and went up to €325 for the most expensive seats in the house.
