The Real Madrid midfielder admitted that, while the club wants to win every compeition, this year the main objective is becoming La Liga champions

Luka Modric spoke to the media after Real Madrid's 5-2 win over Osasuna.

Victory: “We are happy with today’s win and we’ll have to continue that way.”

Goal: “When I can I try to shoot and sometimes they go in.”

Ovation: “I give thanks to the support the fans give me. I am happy in the team and will give giving everything on the field.”

Future: “I want to retire at Real Madrid. It’s the best club in the world and we’ll continue fighting for titles.”

Season’s objective: “Real Madrid always want to win the Champions League but it’s been a long time since we won the league and it’s our priority. We want to win everything but this year we’re going for La Liga.”

Squad: “This squad is the best in the four years I’ve been here. When you look at each position there’s two or three players competing for it.”

Sanction: “I don’t want to go into it but with this squad we can go on for a few years without making a signing.”
