Manchester United's Ander Herrera gets Spain call up
The Manchester United midfielder arrived at the Ciudad del Fútbol complex outside Madrid this evening. It is thought that he will replace Saúl in the squad though nothing has yet been confirmedManchester United v. Manchester City live online

After replacing the injured Javi Martínez with Real Sociedad defender Iñigo Martínez, Julen Lopetegui has continued to reinforce his squad by calling up Ander Herrera. The Manchester United midfielder is already in Madrid and has joined up with his teammates at the Las Rozas facility.
Herrera, the likely replacement for Saúl
The Federation is yet to confirm who he will replace in the squad but all signs point to the player in question being Saúl Ñíguez. The Atleti man didn’t train with the rest of the players on Monday but no news of his status has been confirmed as yet.
Herrera’s call-up to the senior squad is the first of his career. He knows Lopetegui well, havng played under him for the U21 squad.
