Torres: "We want this run to continue all season"
The Atlético Madrid striker told El Largero: "We're continuing with the same philosophy that has brought us success in recent years".
Fernando Torres spoke to El Larguero following Atlético Madrid's victory over Rostov in the Champions League, placing Simeone's side on top of Group D.
A host of chances
El Niño, who was included in the starting eleven, admitted: "the win puts is a very favourable positoin in hte group," and despite not getting on the scoresheet in a tight 1-0 win, Torres admitted that Los Rojiblancos created a lot of chances.
Consistency
"In the end we suffered a bit because we didn't take our chances, but on the whole it was very positive. We're really happy and today's victory was important. We have to keep on winning until the end of the season and play in those games we really want to."
Ongoing success
The player from Fuenlabrada also stress the importance of Atlético midfielder Koke: "Along with Gabi, he gives us great balance. Koke is a player that has to keep growing," Torres concluded by saying: "We're continuing with the same philosophy that has brought us success in recent years."
