Zidane names unchanged squad for trip to Sporting Lisbon

The Real Madrid coach has called up the same 20 players to his squad from the derby and will have to leave two behind for the match in Lisbon.

Zinedine Zidane has named the same squad as he used in the derby victory over Atlético Madrid at the weekend for the trip to Lisbon to play Sporting in the Champions League.

Casemiro, Pepe and Toni Kroos remain on the sidelines as they continue their recoveries from injury and while Zidane has called up 20 players for the match at the Estádio José Alvalade, he will have to leave two out of the final squad.

Against Atlético, third-choice keeper Rubén Yáñez and striker Mariano Díaz were the players omitted.

Keepers: Keylor Navas, Casilla, Yáñez.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Coentrão, Danilo.

Midfielders: James, Kovacic, Modric, Asensio, Isco.

Forwards: Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Vázquez and Mariano.
