Opening the flood gates

Barcelona striker Luis Suárez spoke to beIN Sports directly after his side beat Osasuna 0-3 at El Sadar. The Uruguayan forward opened the scoring with a tap-in after a slick passing move involving Messi and Jordi Alba, who provided the ball across goal.

“We knew the first goal would open up the game. We worked hard in the first half and had chances but we just couldn't put them away," Suárez admitted.

Title hopes

Leo Messi put the game beyond reach of the side at the bottom of the table with a brace, ensuring Luis Enrique's men keep pace with league leaders Real Madrid. “We're still going for the title, despite being six points behind [Real Madrid]. We're Barça. Even though we're second we'll fight to regain our crown," the Barça striker said.
