Readers of footyheadlines.com voted to select their worst kit for 2016 and it was LaLiga giants Real Madrid who secured the ignominious title, winning with their black and purple Adidas third shirt voted by online readers as the worst kit of 2016 securing 21% of the overall vote.
Bordeaux second
Ligue 1 outfit FC Girondins de Bordeaux came in second place for their effort which combined iconic landmarks from the French city on their third shirt. Groundbreaking, daring and different but clearly not to everyone's taste.
Reds (or lime greens) third
Liverpool's recent kits with manufacturer New Balance have generally been well received by the global "Reds" fanbase. The same cannot be said for the current third kit however with the lime green and black effort having the dubious honour of claiming the 2016 worst kit bronze.
