The change of guard in the Real Madrid’s lineup on Sunday should put Sevilla on red alert. Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, the two strikers that Zidane will put back into the side for the crucial LaLiga match, have scored a total of 30 goals and given 10 assists against the Andalusian team between them.
Cristiano: 15 games, 22 goals, one assist
Cristiano has found the net 22 times against Sevilla in 15 games, more than anyone since he arrived in Spain. In the same period he has played 29 games against Barça (scoring 16 goals) and 26 games against Atletico (18 goals). The Portuguese has also scored four hat-tricks in the fixture (two of them coming at the Sanchez Pizjuan).
Benzema: 16 games, 8 goals, 9 assists
Playing versus Sevilla also brings good memories for Karim Benzema . He has scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 16 matches, the same as his tally against Barcelona, Athletic and Malaga. The only LaLiga team he has scored more goals against is Granada (10).
