Alexander Isak, a target for Real Madrid, has been spotted leaving the offices of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund with his agent and family.
AIK agreement
AIK Solna, for whom the 17-year-old Sweden international plays, had reached an agreement with Real Madrid over a 10 million euro transfer for the forward, who has drawn favourable comparisons to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, Isak apparently favours a move to Dortmund, who have a young squad coached by Thomas Tuchel, a manager with a track record of developing youthful players.
Odegaard precedent
At Real Madrid, Isak would have followed the route taken by fellow Scandinavian Martin Odegaard by starting off at Castilla and the striker clearly sees better prospects for advancement in the Bundesliga. Odegaard recently moved to Heerenveen on loan from Madrid.
