10,000 Napoli fans expected in Madrid for Champions League clash

The ticket allocation for the Serie A side is 3.917 but already over 10.000 Napoli fans have flights booked to the Spanish capital for the game on February 15.

With still over two weeks to go before Real Madrid face Napoli in the 2016/17 Champions League quarter final first leg, anticipation is building in the Italian city as fans plan their trips to the Spanish capital.

10,000 travelling 'tifosi'

The Serie A side have been allocated 3,197 match tickets (priced between 65-80 euro) but already 10,000 "tifosi" have booked flights to Madrid with many hoping to pick up tickets on the second-hand ticket market.

Warning

The Real Madrid official website has already posted information for visiting fans on February 15 and has advised Italian supporters not to purchase tickets from unofficial channels and that visiting supporters may be denied entrance to the ground.

Tickets are already reselling for prices of up to 300 euro with the travelling contingent anxious to see their side in action at one of global football's iconic stadia.
