Valencia Mestalla player Diego Caballo caused a stir on social media on Friday evening after uploading a photo of himself training in a Real Madrid top, prompting the left winger to later issue an apology to offended fans.

“If anyone has been offended because in my spare time, I wore a t-shirt from my footballing past to do exercise in order to maintain my form and performance, then I ask forgiveness,” he posted on Twitter.
