Real Madrid defender Carvajal expects to be back next week
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has announced when he expects to be back from the injury that has kept him out since just before the loss to Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey in mid-January.
Carvajal suffered hamstring strain
Carvajal, paying a visit to the Real Madrid Foundation social sports school in Leganés, said he expected "to be training next Tuesday", 7 February, meaning he could well be fit for the LaLiga match against Osasuna on 11 February. Carvajal suffered a grade 2 injury to his hamstring, in training.
Carvajal aims to be back at training on Tuesday
"I'm working hard to get back and this week I'll start... first without the ball, then with. If everything goes well I'll be training with the team next Tuesday", said the Spanish international defender.
If Carvajal does manage to train on Tuesday it means he'll definitely be in with a good chance of being ready for the Champions League game against Napoli, at the Bernabéu on 15 February.
