Gerard Piqué showed his caring side as Barcelona and Betis waiting to enter the pitch in yesterday's league meeting at the Benito Villamarín. The defender spent a few moments paying attention to the children in the players' tunnel, chatting to them and easing their nerves before the teams took to the field.

Piqué greeted the kids with a high five, while his amused team mates looked on. The kids were left speechless and with looks of wonder on their faces when Piqué piped up: "I tell you what, you can come with me, and you can go out with Leo, ok?". It was too much to take for one little boy, who exclaimed, "Wow, Messi!".
