Manchester City are continuing their quest to bring the best young players to their academy and after signing 13-year-old Finlay Burns from Southend for 175,000 pounds and prolific 15-year-old Valencia youth striker Nabil Touaizi, who will join the club for 225,000 pounds when the current season ends, Pep Guardiola and his technical staff have set their sights on another Liga promise.
Dionkou in demand
According to reports in the UK, City have made the first move for 15-year-old Mallorca full back Richard Dionkou, who is also being tracked by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético.
Dionkou cannot sign a contract until his 16th birthday and City’s modus operandi in the Touaizi transfer will be employed again, with the club expected to tie up the deal in the summer and add the player to their under-18 squad for next season.
