Former Barclona and Real Madrid midfielder Bernd Schuster believes the scars of Barça's 4-0 defeat in Paris on Tuesday night will linger on for a long time and the result was coming all season.
"Barça is a team that is slowly but surely coming to an end," Schuster said on El Transistor on Onda Cero. "This team is gradually declining this season and yesterday was a key moment," he explained.
A big fan of Benzema
The German, who also coached Real Madrid for a year in the noughties also took advantage of the air time to speak about Karim Benzema, who reiterated what Zinedine Zidane said about him prior to the Napoli game in that, "Benzema is a striker who works for his teammates, for Cristiano he is constantly creating space for him."
