Yellow Wall closed

Borussia Dortmund face Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday with the famous Sud-Tribune or "Yellow Wall" as it has become known colloquially closed to home fans.

An empty tribune is seen prior to the German first division Bundesliga football match of Borussia Dortmund vs VfL Wolfsburg in Dortmund, western Germany, on February 18, 2017.

The iconic terraced end was forced to close after a section of the home fans subjected visiting Leipzig fans to a torrent of verbal and even physical abuse when the newly promoted side visited the Signal Iduna Arena in early February.

Club response

Dortmund officials issued an open apology to visiting fans and vowed to track down the perpetrators of the trouble.
