Valencia to buy Zaza outright
Simone Zaza has taken just a short time to win over Mestalla. With his maiden goal in the 2-0 win over Athletic Club to which he added another four days later against Real Madrid, the Italian is set to join the Spanish outfit permanently. Zaza joined on loan last month for two million euros, with Valencia also paying his salary. The move has made the 25-year-old centre-forward recover the kind of form he show during his time at Sassuolo, when he hit 21 goals in 69 games.
Clause in Zaza's contract
Valencia are poised to buy Zaza outright when the loan deal ends in June, paying Juventus 16 million euros for the striker. A clause was inserted into the loan contract signed last month which obliges the Spanish club to buy the player if he takes part in a minimum of 10 matches. As of the moment, Zaza has made six appearances, with 15 LaLiga games left to play. The club has practically decided that they will keep Zaza, and that decision will only be reinforced if Vicente Rodríguez remains in the club's technical department.
