Dockal lured to China
Czech Republic international playmaker Borek Dockal is all set to move from Sparta Prague to the Chinese Super League outfit Henan Jianye, the Czech club confirmed today.
The 28-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year deal which Czech media report was worth up to 8.5 million euros.
Dockal, whose previous clubs include Konyaspor in Turkey and Rosenborg in Norway, has scored six goals in 29 games for the Czech national team.
Champions of Africa
His move follows that of Christian Bassogog, who joined the same Chinese club from Danish side Aalborg after being named as the best player at the recent 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, a trophy he won with Cameroon.
