Another derby, another Mercado goal
Gabriel Mercado once again made the headlines on Saturday, stabbing the ball home from close range to level the scores in the Seville derby and to become this season's top scorer in the fixture. The Argentinian defender also reached another milestone, playing his 30th offical game since arriving from River Plate last to season to cover over the hole left by Coke's move to Schalke 04.

30-game add-on
The thirty-game mark is also part of Mercado's contract with the Andalusian club and means Sevilla will have to pay River Plate an add-on fee of over 400,000 euros.
Mercado has now played 20 matches in LaLiga, six in the Champions League, two in the Copa del Rey and two in the Spanish Super Cup, scoring three times and providing one assist, all in the league.
