Álvaro Morata is scoring more LaLiga goals and is responsible for more points than Karim Benzema, despite remaining the Frenchman's understudy at Real Madrid.

Morata contributing more goals and points...

This season, Morata has netted eight times in 746 minutes of league action, with his strikes worth eight points to Real, according to stats provider Mister Chip.

Meanwhile, Benzema has five LaLiga goals to his name from 1,201 minutes on the pitch, with the 29-year-old handing three points to Zinedine Zidane's men.

LaLiga goal every 93 minutes for Morata

Morata, who has notched in seven of his last eight LaLiga appearances, averages a top-flight goal every 93 minutes, while Benzema is only on target every 240.

Morata has upper hand on assists too...

Morata also outstrips Benzema on assists. Both have three in the league in 2016/17 - with the Spain international's haul coming in 445 minutes less game time.
