Gerard Pique spoke to the media after Barcelona's 2-1 defeat at Riazor to Deportivo.

The defender stated: “We tried to control the game but the second goal was a severe blow for us and we did all we could to salvage something from the game. There is still plenty of games to go and all Barcelona fans want us to pursue every title available.

Tiredness

Pique answered accusations of tiredness after the Herculean feat of Wednesday night stating: "We're not machines and despite being favourites to win the game, Depor battled and need to be commended for the win which they deserved. Being tired is no excuse.

League far from over

Pique admitted that the loss at Riazor was a step backwards. "All teams will slip up but we're still very much in the title hunt".
