Sergio Ramos has finally spoken about what he will do once his playing days are over - and he probably won't be going into refereeing... The Real Madrid captain confessed to Jorge Valdano that he will "definitely remain involved in the game" and can see himself as a coach. Ramos is the special guest on beIN LaLiga programme Universo Valdano, which will be broadcast on Friday night at 23:45 CEST. A brief clip of the programme shows him talking about what he might do when he legs finally give up.
Ramos to continue in football when his playing days are over
Ramos agreed when Valdano mentioned that he had been fortunate to learn from some of the best coaches in the modern game and sees management as a new challenge for the years to come. "Coaching? Yes, sure. Why not? It's something which I haven't ruled out for the future because football is part of who I am. I'm sure I will be linked in some way to the world of football, and coaching is something I'd like to do. I would quite enjoy being able to help people and set myself a similar challenge to the one I set myself as a player".
