Gareth Bale discussed Tuesday's Champions League quarter final return leg against Bayern Munich with Spanish broadcaster Mega. Madrid go into the game carrying a 1-2 advantage from last week's first leg at the Allianz Arena - but Bale was noticeably discreet in the Munich leg, and looked as though he hasn't completely returned to his best level after being out for three months with a knee injury.
The Champions League is Madrid's competition, says Bale
Champions League: "It has always been Real Madrid's competition. The club has won it 11 times, more than anyone else. The essence of this club is winning the Champions League and winning trophies. We are working hard in every training session so that we can win silverware, and we hope that there are many more trophies to come".
Critcial moment of the season: "I think we've quite very solid. We haven't reached our best level of form but we are working on that".
Bale "extra-motivated" to make Champions League final in Cardiff
The final in Cardiff: "To make the Champions League final you need to be fully motivated. Obviously, the fact that this year the final's in my hometown, Cardiff, makes it special and gives me extra motivation especial. We'rev working hard so that we can gon al, the way to the final".
