Zinedine Zidane gave his account of Tuesday's 4-2 win over Bayern Munich which puts his Real Madrid team into Friday's Champions League semi-final draw.
Into the semi-final: "We suffered. We played against the best team by a long way. We have had a lot of difficult games but this one was the most difficult".
Overview of the game: "We had a lot of chances in the first half but later we were not very comfortable".
Refereeing: "I spoke to Ancelotti and that's that. I never get involved with the referee. Anything can happen. I spoke to Carlo but about something else. Whether the second booking was right or not or the goals were offside, over the two legs I think we deserved to win the tie".
Zidane answers Cristiano's critics
The Bernabéu whistling Cristiano: "Tonight he showed that he is always there in the key moment. He makes the difference. When we need him, he's always there. He's unique and we are happy for him and for the team - and for our people who supported us at the Bernabéu".
Asensio and Isco: “Isco did well and so did the others. We are a team, with world class players- whether they play 90 minutes or just 10".
Taking Cristiano off: "He wanted to come off, but Kroos had a problem".
