The Madrid coach was pleased with his side's 3-0 victory over Atlético Madrid, but refused to get carried away ahead of the semi-final second leg at the Calderón.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane was content following his side’s 3-0 victory over Atlético in the Champions League semi-final first leg. Yet, he was keen to remind that nothing has been decided.

Zidane: 'you never know what might happen'

Away leg yet to come: “We had a great game, but there is another one still to come. We scored three goals and kept a clean sheet, but there’s still a return leg. Until the referee blows the final whistle, you never know what might happen. We can be happy because the guys played really well. I’m very proud of all of them.”

Isco: “We judged the game really well from the start. Isco floated between the lines and gave us a lot.”

Ronaldo is unique

Cristiano Ronaldo: “I don’t know if it’s because of the rotations, but he can score. He’s unique. He knows when he has to relax because he’s intelligent.”

Zidane's future: “I’m happy at Madrid, I enjoy every day with my players. But we haven’t won anything, and we need to remain switched on.”

Real Madrid’s stengths: “We always try to play, because we have great players, and we have patience. We can cause damage to any team.”

Atlético manager Diego Simeone remained bullish after his side's defeat, insisting that with Atléti, anything is possible.
