Real Madrid's Gareth Bale has taken to social media to express his delight at Los Blancos' qualification for the Champions League final, which is to be held in his hometown of Cardiff.
Zinedine Zidane's men sealed semi-final victory over city rivals Atlético on Wednesday, despite going down 2-1 in the sides' second leg at the Calderón.
Bale: "So proud of the team"
"So proud of the team last night and now continuing my recovery to get back out on the pitch!" tweeted Bale on Thursday, in a post accompanied by a photograph of himself doing rehabilitation exercises in a swimming pool.
The 27-year-old Welsh international has been sidelined since late April after limping off with a calf injury in Real's LaLiga defeat to Barcelona.
