Jesé fancies tripping up Barcelona
Jesé is relishing the chance to trip up Barça’s title challenge. “I like to score goals in every game,” he said, “but if it will help Madrid win the league, I’m not going to lie…”
The winger, on loan from PSG, maintained that his main objective is simply to “to play well and help the team”.
Las Palmas are well aware of the threat that Barcelona’s attacking trident present. Speaking of the ‘MSN’, Jesé accepted that “the three of them are very good. Like at Madrid, both those that play and those that don’t play are good players. Both teams have fantastic squads.”
Las Palmas like to 'make opposition dizzy'
The 24-year-old is enjoying life on the Canary Islands, where he grew up, but also the style of football at his club: “Since I was a youngster, the philosophy at Las Palmas has always been to play, to control and the ball and the match… to make the opposition dizzy.”
He believes that despite Las Palmas’ slump in form since Quique Setién announced that he will depart at the end of the season, thay can threaten Barça.
“By applying pressure high up the pitch we can make them feel uncomfortable… we’ll be able to inflict damage on them by doing this.”
