Liverpool have agreed to hand £75 to each of their young season ticket holders after Fair Play award.

As The Reds hope to secure a Champions League spot for next year, the club have agreed to hand £75 to each of their young season ticket holders.

In a season where Jürgen Klopp's side are within touching distance of Champions League qualification, the club are giving £75 to every season-ticket holder between the ages of 17 and 21, reports in the UK claim. This is thanks to the financial reward that is now given to the team that collects the fewest disciplinary points over the season.

Liverpool giving back to the fans

It used to be that the Fair Play award winners were given a place in the Europa League however this was changed in 2015, the last time Liverpool won the award. Clubs now recieve prize money which is to be used on projects related to respect and fair play.

Middlesbrough end Premier League at Anfield

If the team maintain their discipline in the final game of the season against Middlesbrough at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, the £20,000 prize fund will be shared out among their next generation of fans, seeing £75 taken off the price of season tickets. The decision to use the money in this way was taken in a meeting of supporter representatives and the club.
