Barcelona vs Deportivo La Coruña: LaLiga

Lionel Messi is close to claiming his fourth European Golden shoe award after the Barcelona No. 10 closed his LaLiga campaign with a brace for his side in a 4-2 win over Eibar at Camp Nou last night.

His closest rival Bas Dost (Dutch striker with Sporting de Portugal) pushed the Argentine all the way and bagged a triple as sporting saw-off Chaves sin the last fixture of the Portuguese league campaign.

Dzeko goal orgy

Only a nine goal-fest from Edin Dzeko in the last Serie A fixture for AS Roma could deny the Argentine from claiming his fourth top European marksman award after scooping previous awards in 2009-10 with 34 goals. An impressive 50 goal haul in 2011-12 saw Messi claim the award with 2012-13 his last Golden Shoe with 46 strikes.
