The Atletico Madrid striker appeared to knock a potential move to Manchester United on the head and says he is happy in Madrid with Atletico.

Antoine Griezmann spoke at the French national team's headquarters as they prepare for games against Paraguay and Sweden and the Atletico Madrid striker appeared to knock talk of a move to Manchester United move on the head. The 26-year-old said "I am good at the club," while also confirming that "my future will be decided this summer".

The French striker said, "I am good at the club. My agents are talking with Atletico and we will see what happens. My future will be decided this summer. If I do leave this summer, the date will depend on the qualifying phase of the World Cup."

France's forward Antoine Griezmann attends a training session in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines on May 30, 2017.

Griezmann happy at Atletico

He added, "I am happy here. I have spoken with the manager, with Koke and Godin. It is in the hands of the president of the club. We will see how it goes." Previously, Enrique Cerezo said "I don't think anyone will pay Griezmann's release clause (€100 million). There has been no approach from Manchester United and nobody has offered to pay the clause and I don't think anyone will. The situation is that Antoine Griezmann is an Atletico Madrid player and has a contract until 2021. He has never told me that he wants to leave."

The former Real Sociedad forward caused a stir when he appeared on French television and said there was a 6 out of 10 chance that he would be playing with Manchester United next season and a 7 out of ten chance that he would continue at Atletico before taking to Twitter and saying the rumours surrounding his future and possible departure were unfounded.
