After yesterday's CAS ruling which upheld the transfer ban surrounding Atletico Madrid which means the club cannot sign any new player until January 2018, fans if the club angry with the decision took to Twitter.
The brunt of their ire was directed at @TAS (Tribunal de Arbitraje Deportivo) the Spanish acronym for the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport). Little did they realise that they were venting their fury at an innocent Japanese football writer Tasuku.
Señores,me llamo Tasuku y me llaman "TAS". No hagan los tweets poniendo @TAS porque ustedes me están matando!! jaja— 大川佑 | Goal編集長 (@tas) 1 de junio de 2017
The Goal Japan writer and content provider for Japanese sports network DZAN was taking matters in a good matured manner and tweeted to Atleti fans: "Guys, my name is Tasuku and "TAS" is my nick-name. Easy with the tweets using @TAS as you're driving me crazy! ha ha !" TAS later commented that his response had gone viral and thanked the social media network and fans of the Madrid based club.
