Cristiano Ronaldo’s opener in Cardiff in the Champions League final against Juventus ensured that Madrid have had the perfect season in front of goal: They have scored in every match this season.
Madrid find the net in all 60 matches
The run began on the 9th August 2016, when Zidane’s side beat Sevilla 3-2 in the European Super Cup. In total, Los Blancos have found the net 170 times in the 60 matches they played during the course of the 2016/17 campaign.
Madrid’s run is yet more impressive if the back end of the previous season is taken in to account. Over the two seasons, they have scored in 65 consecutive matches, beating a European record that was previously held by Bayern (61 matches).
Coentrao the only player not to score
The Madrid squad have shared the goals around them. Portuguese left-back Fabio Coentrao is the only player not to have found the net. Cristiano Ronaldo sits at the top of the list with 42 goals, followed by Morata on 20, and Benzema on 19.
