After the loss in Cardiff, the Italian tactician is to meet with the board in search of a pay rise and two to three top-tier players for another crack at Europe.

Massimiliano Allegri is considering his options at Juventus after his side suffered another Champions League final defeat at the hands of Real Madrid in Cardiff and is to lay out a series of demands to the board before deciding on his future.

After the 4-1 defeat Allegri said that he was happy in Turin and would remain at the club “to have another go next year.”

Allegri to ask for eight million euros a season

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, that statement will come with a few requests and not least among them is a significant pay rise. Allegri currently has a salary of 5.5 million euros a year and will ask for eight as a condition for staying on. PSG have reportedly tabled an offer of 10 million a season for the Italian to succeed Unai Emery.

Allegri’s concerns are not purely financial. The Juve coach also wants assurances that the Old lady will be active in the transfer market this summer and has asked for at least two or three marquee signings to strengthen his squad.

Juventus' list of targets

The two names at the top of Allegri’s wish list are PSG’s Ángel di María and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.

Juventus have also drawn up a list of other targets, with Andrés Iniesta and James Rodríguez among the most ambitious.

Corentin Tolisso, Steven N'Zonzi, Leandro Paredes, Fabinho, Emre Can, Wojciech Szczesny, Marquinhos, Patrik Schick, Keita Baldé, Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi are also being linked with a move to Turin.
