Iker Casillas' representatives have offered the FC Porto goalkeeper's services to Sevilla, according to a report in the newspaper El Desmarque.
The ex-Real Madrid and Spain captain is yet to renew his contract at Porto, which expires at the end of June, and is thought to be keen on a new challenge.
Casillas also linked with Liverpool, PSG
36-year-old Casillas, who has spent the last two seasons in Portugal, has also been linked with Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks.
El Desmarque says the initial contact between the player's camp and Sevilla took place a couple of weeks ago and has so far progressed no further than that.
Sevilla considering bringing in Rico competition
Following the appointment of Eduardo Berizzo as coach, Sevilla are stepping up their planning for next season under new sporting director Óscar Arias.
While current number-one keeper Sergio Rico is considered a cornerstone of Sevilla's first-team project, the arrival of a custodian to provide competition to the young Spain international is not being ruled out at the Sánchez-Pizjuán.
