Interest in Real Madrid player James appeared to be coming mainly from Manchester United and PSG, but according to new reports coming out of the player's home country Colombia, it could be that Bayern Munich are keenest on making off with the attacking midfielder services.

According to Javier Hernández Bonnet, head of sports at Caracol Television, the German side coached by Carlo Ancelotti are readying a bid for James to be presented to Real Madrid in the coming days.

If the operation ends up being successful it would mean James would link up again with Ancelotti, who was coach at Real Madrid when the attacking number 10 arrived at the Bernabéu and under who James enjoyed his best moments in a white shirt.

With Ancelotti in the dug out, James played 46 competitive games, scoring 17 goals and setting up 18. James' decline started with Ancelotti's departure, and in 2015/16 he played 32 games, notching eight and setting up 10. He played 33 games, scored 11 and set up 13 last season, but was never really a main part of Zidane's plans.
