James Rodriguez does not look likely to continue at Real Madrid. He does not lack suitors in Europe, however. Manchester United have maintained their interest throughout the summer but another name has emerged recently and they could be genuine contenders to land the Colombian: Bayern Munich.
Rummenigge does not deny James to Bayern rumour
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the German club's director general, was asked about the possibility of James' arrival and he answered, "All of the options are open," according to German newspaper Bild. he also said he did not want to speak about every rumour mentioned, saying "I won't want to talk about every rumour. It makes it more complicated and expensive". Negotiations between the German and Spanish league champions are advanced though.
James is in Madrid and took part in the preseason tests with the club but in Colombia, they are convinced that it is only a matter of time before their star reunited with Carlo Ancelotti, who is keen to have the number 10 back in his squad. They worked together during the 0214-15 season.
