LaLiga side Villarreal will face Argentinian giants Boca Juniors in a pre-season friendly in Buenos Aires on August 2nd confirmed José Manuel Llaneza, vice-president of the Spanish club.

"The game will be a great advertisement for ourselves and will put us on the global map, it's a great step for the club", added Llaneza, speaking to the EFE agency.
Llaneza also added that plans are afoot to meet Argentina's president Mauricio Macri with the 34 players from the South American country who have played their football at some stage of their careers with Villarreal. Such luminaries include Sebastián Battaglia and recent Boca Juniors idol Juan Román Riquelme.
