Yerry Mina will play for Barça in 2018. This was the claim made by one of the player's representatives Felipe Russo on FCInternews.it: "He'll remain in Brazil for the present and then in 2018 he'll move to play in the Spanish league. The deal is practically closed and it's been a long term dream of his to play for the Catalan club".
Russia World Cup
The Colombian defender's agent was adamant that there would be no hiccups regarding the move. "Why would this breakdown, when it's a move that ensures the player's best interests. He'll stay with Palmeiras for another season as he wants to be in top shape going into the 2018 World Cup. But there are zero possibilities that things will change".
Barcelona have been monitoring Yerry Mina for some time and have the defender earmarked as a key player in the 2018-19 squad. As things stand it appears highly likely that the 26 year old will be pulling on the famous claret and navy stripes for the season after next.
