Jesús Navas will be a Sevilla player in the next few hours having given the definitive 'Yes' to El Nervion to ensure he returns home after spending several years at Manchester City. According to Diario de Sevilla, the club expect the deal to be completed soon with the Vitolo case throwing the transfer up into the air two weeks ago.
The return of Jesus Navas resolves some problems for Eduardo Berizzo, who was not happy with his side's performance today. They added Nolito in the transfer window but need more reinforcements in out wide in attack. The player arrives on a free transfer and will be paid roughtly €2 million a year net.
Navas always insisted it was his desire to return to Sevilla. Last week, after the deal had slowed down, Navas travelled to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan with his agent and Father but they left without an agreement. However, the player has said yes now meaning a deal is a formality.
