Since Neymar's world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain, a raft of names have been linked with Barcelona to replace the Brazilian, with Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho, Juventus' Paulo Dybala and Ángel Di María, who is currently at PSG, receiving the most attention.
Draxler representative seen in Barcelona
Meanwhile, another suggested candidate is Julian Draxler, a winger who is also at Neymar's new club, and who could well face a fight for his first-team place at the Parc des Princes in the wake of the former Santos star's arrival.
On Sunday images emerged in the newspaper BILD of Draxler's agent, Roger Wittman, apparently at the airport in Barcelona, where it's thought he could be about to negotiate a summer deal between his client and Los Azulgranas.
Draxler offers similar profile to Neymar
Germany international Draxler, who has made 25 appearances and scored 10 goals for PSG since joining from VfL Wolfsburg in January, possesses a similar profile to Neymar, as a highly skilful inside-out wide player with excellent vision.
The 23-year-old was absent from PSG's Ligue 1 opener against Amiens on Saturday, having returned to training later than the rest of the squad due to his participation in the Confederations Cup in June.
