Michél has shone light on the Javier Ontiveras situation and the future does not look bright for the young talent at Malaga as he has been removed from the squad for disciplinary reasons. The future in general at the club is in doubt with the Andalusian side losing to Valencia 5-0 during the week to make it five losses in five with just one goal scored, and while Ontiveros was brought on in the second half in that game, he is now out of the squad.
"The player is out of the group now due to a situation that he created," the Malaga manager said. The manager understands that "it is a serious disciplinary issue and it is also not the first time something like this has happened".
Michél, who is hanging on by a thread himself, says it is not about him or the quality of the player in question but about the group. The director of sport made the decision with the player's teammates too and "there is nothing more to say," according to the former Real Madrid player.
"Those who want to be here are and those outside of the group are where they are," he continued before stating it was the player's decisions that has him outside the group.
Ontiveros liked a photograph from Toni Lato, the Valencia left-back, on Instagram after shipping five to Valencia. The Instagram photo (below) highlights the three important points.
