The average time in the squad is 3.6 years which is the same amount of time as Real Sociedad with Athletic Club, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the top five.

Real Madrid have managed titles under Zinedine Zidane and with that comes a certain type of tranquility. Los Blancos have the most stable team in LaLiga, along with Real Sociedad, with the average time spent in the squad sitting at 3.6 years.

This number will surely be lifted when all the contract negotiations and extensions are carried out too. In recent weeks, Isco, Marcelo, Benzema and Dani Carvajal have all prolonged their stays with more to come. The objective is to secure the future with big release clauses to scare away any potential suitors and to ensure consistency within the team.

It has taken some time, however, and with 3.6 years being the average time spent at the club, it coincides with the 10th European Cup the team won in Lisbon. 11 players from that side remains: Ramos, Marcelo, Varane, Carvajal, Nacho, Modric, Isco, Casemiro, Cristiano, Bale and Benzema

In 2013, the average stay at the club was just 2.87 years and they have worked hard to ensure that number went up.
