Real set scoring record, equal Barcelona winning run
Real had seen their historic 73-game scoring streak halted in their surprise 1-0 home defeat to Betis on Wednesday - the first time Los Blancos had failed to find the net since back in April 2016.
However, they remain unerring in front of goal on the road, and at Alavés became the first team to score in 33 straight away matches in the Spanish top flight, overtaking the sequence of 32 set by Barcelona in 2013.
The last time that the Spanish and European champions drew a blank on their travels in the league was in a 1-0 defeat to Villarreal in December 2015.
Meanwhile, Real pulled level with the LaLiga record of 12 consecutive away league wins set by Barça in 2010, and can now surpass that mark at Getafe on 14 October.
