Luis Suárez told the Atlético Madrid fans in the Wanda Metropolitano to shut it after scoring Barcelona's equaliser in the 81st minute of Saturday's late LaLiga match.
Suárez silences the Wanda
Atlético were leading 1-0 when Suárez met Sergi Roberto's precise cross with a fine downward header that left Atleti keeper Jan Oblak no chance. Suárez wheeled away and raised his finger to his lips, clearly telling the Atleti fans he was there to shut them up.
Suárez then followed up shushing the Atleti fans by giving a cupped-ear celebration, which didn't go down well at all in Atleti's new ground.
Once the Atleti fans had recovered from the shock they whistled Suárez vociferously. The Uruguayan has a decent record against Atlético, having scored six in eight games.
