Real have confirmed that the keeper has suffered a relapse of his adductor problem, potentially ruling the Costa Rican out for two weeks.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has suffered a relapse of his recent groin problem, Los Blancos have today revealed.

Navas missed last Saturday's LaLiga win at Getafe after injuring himself on Costa Rica duty a week earlier, but returned to action in Tuesday's Champions League draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

However, he was unable to train with his team-mates yesterday and, in a statement published on the club's website, Real said: "Following tests carried out on Keylor Navas, he has been diagnosed with an injury to his right adductor muscle."

Navas could be out for around two weeks

It is thought that the 30-year-old could be out for around a fortnight, although Real did not place a timeframe on his return, saying only: "His recovery will continue to be monitored."

Zinedine Zidane's men host Eibar in LaLiga on Sunday in the first of five fixtures in the two weeks leading up to the next international break, in which Navas' Costa Rica side take on Spain in a friendly in Málaga on Saturday 11 November.
