The Sunday editions of the Catalan sports newspapers lead with this weekend's confirmation of Leo Messi's new Barcelona contract - and, in particular, the much-awaited photo of the star putting pen to paper on his fresh terms.

Messi's new, four-year contract finally confirmed

Messi's extension, which sees the 30-year-old commit to Barça until 2021 and includes a 700-million-euro release clause, was agreed back in July but, until Saturday, had not been officially signed.

Messi shakes hands with Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu after signing his new contract.

"Finally we have the photo!" exclaims the front page of the newspaper Sport, which highlights Messi's declaration that his "dream was to finish my career at Barça."

"Forever a Culé," adds Mundo Deportivo, the other main Barcelona-based sports daily.
