Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has left defender Jesús Vallejo out of his squad for tonight's LaLiga fixture away to Athletic Club (20:45 CET).
Vallejo's omission comes hot on the heels of Zidane's decision not to include the 20-year-old in his travelling party for this month's Fifa Club World Cup.
Hakimi, Llorente, Asensio and Bale also remain in Madrid
Achraf Hakimi and Marcos Llorente have also been excluded from the trip to Bilbao, while injury victims Marco Asensio and Gareth Bale also miss out.
However, club captain Sergio Ramos returns after missing Los Blancos' last three games due to a broken nose suffered against Atlético Madrid last month.
Real Madrid squad to face Athletic Club:
Keylor, Casilla, Moha; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Theo; Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Isco, Kovacic, Ceballos; Cristiano, Benzema, Vázquez and Mayoral.
